Gameplay changes

  • Increased player speed by about 10%
  • Increased camera distance by about 10%
  • Alt fire of banana cocktail now acts as a proximity mine only exploding on player contact
  • Modified aiming code to reduce chances of committing suicide with rocket launcher

 New features

  • Added team chat only visible to team mates
  • Added buttons to undo/redo operations in the map editor
  • Added 2 new maps and removed an old one
  • Kill console command now works for clients as well
  • Added team deathmatch mode
  • Added a time limit (default 30 minutes) and flag capture limit (default 5)
  • Added map cycling feature when end of game is reached
  • Added a dedicated server (this is not yet optimised)
  • Added a server.cfg config file for saving server settings
  • Synchronised game time between client and server
  • Added remote console support for controlling server

 Maps

  • Completely redesigned “ctf-rumble” map (only the name is the same)
  • Added “dm-ship” map
  • Made minor adjustments to a number of maps

 Bug fixes

  • Fixed crash when clicking connect without selecting a server
  • Fixed bug where remove bot didn't always work
  • Fixed bug where dead players could still be shot in multiplayer
  • Fixed bug where bots would attempt to enter portals they could not pass through
  • Removed “Game Mode” button from main menu when in map editor mode
  • Fixed bug where LAN servers sometimes appear then disappear straight away from server list
  • Fixed bug where player wouldn't fade when light mapping was on
  • Bots remain in the game after map switching
